A total of 60 hours of approved continuing medical education for EMT, 80 hours of approved continuing medical education for AEMT and EMT-Intermediate, and 100 hours of approved continuing medical education for Paramedic.
Illinois specific requirements
Emergency Medical Services personnel must complete at least one one-hour course of training on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia
