The continuing education requirements by certification level are 16 hours for EMR, 28 for EMT, 44 for AEMT, and 60 for Paramedic. Kansas gives clinicians flexibility on timing: hours can be completed at any point during the certification period, including all in a single year. All online and correspondence-type training must be approved by CAPCE.
