South Carolina follows the NREMT NCCP model for recertification. Even if you are state certified only, you will still follow the NREMT recertification plan. If you renew your NREMT, you will satisfy your South Carolina education requirements. Recertification also requires a state and federal criminal background check, and you should apply at least 30 days before your expiration date.
