West Virginia follows the NREMT NCCP model for recertification, and WVOEMS-licensed providers must maintain uninterrupted NREMT certification — a lapse results in immediate suspension of your West Virginia license. Renewal is every two years: complete your NREMT recertification first, then submit a separate state application and fees in your WV ImageTrend account between October 1 and December 31 — the state deadline is 90 days before your March 31 expiration.
